CPRC Meeting at SETAC NA

The Chesapeake Potomac Regional Chapter (CPRC) of SETAC will have at meeting at the SETAC North America conference on Tuesday October 22 from 6-7:30 pm in the Sundance 2 at the Omni hotel.

We encourage all folks in the DMV area, especially students, post-docs, and early career scientists to attend and meet people in your area! While still going over business for the chapter (including ways to get involved!), we want this to be an opportunity to have structured networking. We plan to do a “speed dating” style mentoring event, where folks can rotate in the room and learn about different career paths in small groups. If you are willing to serve as a mentor, please let President Connie Mitchell (cmitchell@hesiglobal.org) know – we are looking from folks across sectors and stages in their careers.

After the event, we will have an informal social gathering tentatively planned for the Flying Saucer (about a 10-minute walk from the convention center)
