A primary objective of CPRC is to support and provide opportunities to students and young professionals in their academic and professional aspirations. We strive to meet this main objective by organizing annual events, such as our Spring Meeting, which promote professional networking and provide opportunities to share professional/academic research in the field of environmental toxicology and chemistry. We also offer annual monetary support and travel awards to our students members to attend such events which aid in building their professional career.  Your financial support of our chapter and its activities are vital to the continued success of the chapter and its high-achieving members.

STUDENT AWARDS and TRAVEL SUPPORT

• Annual Spring Meeting Student Awards (1st, 2nd, & 3rd place) for best poster or platform presentation
• Student Travel Award to SETAC NA
• Poster Contest Student Awards
• Annual Spring Meeting Travel Support for two students (includes short-course and meeting registration, overnight lodging)

CPRC EVENTS

• Poster Social / Coffee Break at the Annual Spring Meeting
• Student-Mentor Luncheon during the Annual Spring Meeting
• Evening Social at SETAC NA meeting
• Annual Autumn / Winter Dinner Event with Guest Speaker

**Complementary Spring Meeting Registrations are granted on an annual basis according to the sponsorship tier with the recommendation that they are to be used within a year

Note: As of February 17, 2015, IRS has found that CPRC SETAC is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to CPRC SETAC are deductible under section 170 of the Code, and we are a recognized public charity according to section 509 (a) (2) of the Code.
