Chesapeake Potomac Regional Chapter

of the

Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry

Join Our Membership Committee!

The priority of the Membership Committee (MC) is to increase member participation in activities designed to promote scientific knowledge and discussions, as well as networking/career opportunities for students and young environmental science professionals that are promoted by the society.

The MC is responsible for keeping our current members list up to date and providing updates on membership trends to share on monthly Executive Committee calls.  In addition, we are looking for support to broaden our membership by reaching out to local professional and academic institutions in the region (Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC) with potential CPRC membership.

The Student Representative and Treasurer of CPRC are the current co-chairs of the MC.  We are always looking for more volunteers to serve on the MC to lead outreach and retention efforts of professional and student members and corporate sponsors.

If you would like to assist with outreach and retention efforts, planning or creating activities (especially those supportive of students and early professionals in their career development) or if you have suggestions for interested organizations, individuals, and sponsorships, please contact the MC chair, the CPRC Treasurer (treasurer.cprc.setac@gmail.com)
